Where a claim matters clinically, it should be a test result rather than a description. ISO 20743 quantifies antibacterial activity on treated textiles. EN 13795 sets performance requirements for surgical gowns and clean-air suits. ISO 15797 tests how a garment holds up through industrial washing and thermal disinfection — the cycle a hospital laundry actually runs. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 confirms the fabric is free from substances harmful against skin. Certificates of conformity are issued per batch on request so procurement has the paperwork before an audit asks for it.
